Major SACAC Programs: Like TACAC, SACAC maintains a busy annual calendar to reach their members, which is especially challenging given the large geographic reach of the organization.
- Drive In Workshops - day-long workshops for counselors in each state
- Mini Camp Colleges - day-long workshops for high school students, offered in most states
- Legislative Days - meeting with legislators in each state
- Dry Run Workshop - summer professional development program for new and nearly new admissions professionals on the college side
- Summer Seminar - summer professional development program for new and nearly new counselors on the high school side
- SAIL - 10-month professional development program designed for individuals in middle management positions at postsecondary institutions seeking further advancement within the profession

What's new in SACAC: A Blog, Webinars, and a Public School Outreach Initiative (starting in Georgia, will extend to other states)
Conference Traditions: SACAC gives a number of awards at its conference (this will take place during the affiliate luncheons, on Monday, April 24). Many of SACAC's awards are named in honor of past SACAC members.
