Conference Session Proposals

Step right up! Are you interested in showcasing your knowledge, experience, and energy? We’re looking for speakers that want to enlighten, fascinate, and wow the audience and are now accepting session proposals! We have extended the deadline until January 25 to submit your session proposal, but don’t delay. Start thinking now about what you want to present and who you can partner with to present your topic. Pre-Conference Sessions

With a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and access, pre-conference sessions are truly centered around the “come one, come all” mentality of our conference theme. For $50, join us for a longer, interactive session taking place prior to the official start of the conference and take place in discussions on bringing all under the big top in our profession! Contact Frank Laro with additional questions.


Local Secondary Educator's Day

Attention all high school educators! If you are within a 90-mile radius of Dallas, Texas, you are able to attend our conference on Monday, April 12 as a Local Educator. This day is jam-packed with sessions selected to specifically help you grow as a professional and network with our high education colleagues. 


First-Timers 

Are you a new conference attendee or new to your affiliate? Learn how to navigate the three-ring circus of college admissions counseling, get informed about mentorship and development opportunities, and make connections to help you juggle life in this profession. Two years without a conference means double the fun, so step right up! Be sure to select first time attender when you register. Contact Damien Bracey for more information.

We have several opportunities for sponsorship and exhibitors that will reach both our face to face and virtual conference attendees. Conference Wellness 

Do you have a morning fitness routine to start your day off? For only $10, join in on Monday and Tuesday morning for a fitness and wellness class to kickstart your days with us during the conference! Safe and socially distanced options will be available for both in-person and virtual conference attendees. 


College Tours/Counselor Card Swap

Colleges/Universities, are you interested in showcasing your institution at our postsecondary sideshow? We will be providing networking opportunities throughout the big top for colleges and universities to connect with counselors about exciting updates at their institution. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with both virtual and in-person attendees. This is a new spin on the Counselor Card Swap and College Tours. 


Conference Volunteers

We Need You! Here is where you can help us out: take the time to volunteer during the conference. Whether it is providing directions, assisting with checking in or passing out materials, we need YOU! Hotel Information

There is a block of rooms reserved at the host hotel with a special group rate of $194 per night. You must register for the conference in order to receive the hotel block information. Reservations must be made before March 1, 2021, to secure the rate using the link provided in your conference registration confirmation email.


Cancellation, Payment, and Substitution Policy 

  • Payment is due upon receipt and may be made by check or credit card only; purchase orders are not accepted. Checks should be made payable to TACAC and sent to the address on the invoice. Click here for TACAC's W-9.
  • All payments must be received by March 21, 2021. Unpaid registrations by March 22, 2021 may be cancelled and attendees must re-register if space allows.
  • Requests for cancellations or substitutions must be submitted online
  • Changes to registration type (face-to-face or online) may be made up until March 5, 2021. No changes will be granted after March 5, 2021.
  • All refunds will incur a $15 processing fee per registrant.
  • Cancellation Schedule (based on date cancellation received):
    - Full Refund (less processing fee): December 18, 2020 - February 12, 2021
    - Half Refund (less processing fee): February 13 - March 5, 2021
    - No Refunds will be issued after March 5, 2021
  • Substitution requests must be submitted by March 19, 2021.
  • Registrants who do not attend superconference (no-show) will not receive a refund and outstanding invoices will remain due. No exceptions.

In the event that the superconference is not able to be held with face-to-face accommodations, we will move all participants over to virtual attendance.
