TACAC supports NACAC's mission to support and advance the work of counseling and enrollment professionals as they help all students realize their full educational potential, with particular emphasis on the transition to postsecondary education. Leadership

TACAC's executive board is made up of 24 individual serving students and families across Texas. Board members are made up of professionals providing students' with access to and persistence through post-secondary education. 

TACAC encourages any member interested in serving to apply for open executive officer, board, or program chair positions.

NEXT is a professional development program established to build the leadership capacity of next-generation affiliate and national leaders. Participants are provided opportunities to build connections with each other, understand their own leadership capacity and strengths, and navigate the opportunities available through volunteer service.

The Texas College Access Network, TxCAN, is an initiative of Educate Texas, that connects and supports college access organizations across Texas with the goal of increasing access to college and certificate programs for all Texas students.

UT Austin GEAR UP is a college access program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that aims to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.
