Leadership

TACAC's executive board is made up of 24 individual serving students and families across Texas. Board members are made up of professionals providing students' with access to and persistence through post-secondary education. 

TACAC encourages any member interested in serving to apply for open executive officer, board, or program chair positions.

ACCI 2025

ACCI is a four-day, in-resident, interactive professional development experience where new counseling and higher education professionals can build counseling strengths, network, and develop a toolkit of necessary skills needed to counsel today’s college-bound students.

Make plans to join us July 14-17 at Schreiner University. Registration for ACCI is now open until June 18.

Mentorship Program

The objective of the Mentorship Committee is to increase awareness and the importance of building relationships between admission professionals while fostering development to gain leadership on the state and national levels.

Spring applications are due Friday, May 9 and will be matched before the summer break. Please note there will be a second round in the fall, if you would like to wait until the new school year to be matched.

The Texas College Access Network, TxCAN, is an initiative of Educate Texas, that connects and supports college access organizations across Texas with the goal of increasing access to college and certificate programs for all Texas students.

UT Austin GEAR UP is a college access program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that aims to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.
